Today has been a lazy day. I also just lost my entire blog due to a break in the internet connection so I'm now retyping a shorter, condensed version of the previous.

I left Fran's yesterday to go to a new host up in Enfield. It was a sad departure. She was such a wonderful host with an amazing daughter. Good times were had between the other couchsurfers and her family. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Especially hot chocolate in bed =]
I'm now in the Enfield area. I ate at a wonderful African restaurant last night and stuffed myself with delicious food. It's like a sub-cultured experience. A different culture inside an already new one.

It's 5pm and I've spent my day writing essays and applying for scholarships for my internship applications and for school. I know, I should be out traveling, but since my travelcard expired and I've been being going nonstop for this last week, I thought to take a few days off to do some much needed work.

Anyways, many of the areas were interactive which I know was a huge selling point for the zoo. We were able to go in with some of the primates and the two aviaries were neat (I'm not a huge fan of birds). The butterfly house was amazing because

After the zoo we got on random buses and ended up on Baker Street, the famous residence of Sherlock Holmes. As a Holmes fan, it was awesome to get to see the proposed residence of this character. After walking what felt like a million miles, we relaxed in Hyde Park under a tree before getting lost again on our way back.
